Ingersoll Rand Digital: Accelerating Digital Transformation
The recently established Ingersoll Rand Digital will advance the digital journey with new digital services for our customers. Interacting on a comprehensive customer-facing cloud platform will help our customers optimize their operation and internal processes using latest technology in the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). Our goal is to implement digital models that accommodate the specific requirements of the brands and to build an adaptable and scalable digital ecosystem based on modular and reusable core components. To that end, IR Digital will progress in the four focus areas of (a) Edge & Cloud Infrastructure, (b) Data Science & Analytics, (c) Customer Interaction & eCommerce and (d) IIoT Product Management.
Edge & Cloud Infrastructure will partner with all IIoT teams to build and extend our cloud technology with a strong focus on user experience.
A corporate hub for Data Science and Analytics will extend Ingersoll Rand’s capabilities in data analysis, artificial intelligence and machine learning.
The goal of Customer Interaction & eCommerce is to leverage the digital twin of our products and create powerful offerings.
The IIoT Product Management team will accelerate the implementation of digital business models and will tailor the digital services and their products.
