Exhibitor: FREDVIC
Sector: REFRIGERATION AND AIR CONDITIONING
Fredvic, a benchmark in the industrial refrigeration sector, has become one of the main companies in the sector that is committed to logistics centres with ecological and efficient refrigeration systems
With a clear commitment to contributing to sustainable development from an economic, social and environmental point of view, Fredvic has been able to adapt to these new requirements with the development of industrial refrigeration facilities in line with the Sustainable Development Goals {SDGs} of the United Nations and which place sustainability – objective 13 – at the centre of activity.
The inflationary wave of prices and the new European guidelines on sustainability increasingly favour the need to apply efficiency in all areas. With this taken into account, refrigeration systems, key in logistics facilities, are an essential element in the race for new product storage and distribution centres.
There are no two logistics centres alike. The industrial refrigeration installations carried out by Fredvic are especially customized for each client, according to their needs. They have only one common denominator: sustainability. Or, translated into other words, sustainability means minimizing electrical consumption, providing safety and security in order to reduce the number of incidents and catastrophic risk, robustness to maximize the life of the installations, application of software derived from industry 4.0 and control of installations through artificial intelligence. Initiatives that favour the challenge of certifying logistics centres with BREEAM or the GREEN PACT.
But how, exactly, does Fredvic manage to provide all this added value to an installation? It does so through the dedicated work of our engineers, installers and assemblers who, with a global coordination of the complete installation, favour an efficient system in all the phases involved. To this end, we are talking about state-of-the-art, ammonia installations {low load, variable VI, incondensate traps, permanent magnet motors, double-stage semi-hermetic compressors...}; but also secondary circuits {tempers, CO2, pumped, glycols...}, high-performance FULL CO2 solutions with high-energy efficiency {3-suction booster systems, total heat recovery by cleaning water, air conditioning or heating, defrosting of hot CO2 ...}, as well as heat pumps for water at 75 degrees, or the total integration of refrigeration systems or management programs with artificial intelligence, continuous monitoring with automatic corrections and a long etcetera list that we could also add.
However, the success of a sustainable installation cannot only be assessed during its initial installation phase. This strategy must last throughout the life of the entire installation, favouring a good performance of both the property and by the installer/maintainer themselves. In our opinion, the main commitments that must be acquired are:
For Fredvic, as installer and maintainer:
For the property:
Sustainable industrial refrigeration is one more step in the global strategy of more efficient logistics platforms. If we add that refrigeration is one of the main sources of energy consumption, it becomes a key element to reduce CO2 emissions into the atmosphere. We are part of this environmental commitment but also key partners in initiatives that favour a cleaner, more competitive, and more sustainable industry.
Fredvic is a company specializing in refrigeration, air conditioning and clean room systems for different sectors, logistics centres and pharmaceutical laboratories with a fully integrated service from start to finish (engineering, installation and maintenance 24 hours a day so that the cold chain is not broken) for a highly qualified solution with the best technologies available.
